Rate Card - Prices effective January 1, 2013 Personal Computer Support Options: There is never a charge to call and discuss your computer problems and issues with us. We welcome the opportunity to help you evaluate whether or not we can help you and will estimate all costs and fees before doing any work. Please call us at 570-836-8138 (Office), 570-885-0101 (Cell), or use our "Contact Form". $125 per hour for Computer Bench Fee (work done at our office). This is a "Flat Fee Rate" for one hour of work and will fix about 75% of the issues we find. If we cannot fix your computer under this "Bench Fee", we will advise you of any additional parts and/or time needed and obtain your approval before continuing. If you do not wish to complete the repair due to cost, or if we cannot fix the unit due to some other reason, your bench fee will drop to a $75 minimum evaluation fee. We will arrange for drop-off & pickup with you. The $125 "Bench Fee" (plus PA Sales Tax) is due and payable at the time we receive the unit. Minimum 2 hours if we come on site at your home plus $0.95/mile round trip from Tunkhannock. Phone Support / Questions : $125 per hour $75 minimum - may require advance payment This is usually your best choice if you don't anticipate on-going work. For example, if you just need someone for an emergency, this will be the least expensive choice. If that sounds like a lot of money to you, please keep in mind that we have a great deal of experience. Many times we can quickly fix problems that other people might spend hours on. If there is unused time, we can clean up / maintenance your system. For "On-Site Visits" - Mileage: I do not charge for time spent traveling to or from your site, but do charge round trip mileage. Billing starts when I arrive at your site and ends when I leave. The mileage charge is applied to the entire trip, coming and going. All hardware orders must be paid in advance of ordering by check or cash. Payment is required at time of service unless credit is pre-approved or otherwise agreed upon. Major credit cards are accepted for services. PLEASE NOTE: MWS computers is a consulting business that primarily services business clients, although we do service individuals upon request. As such we do not have a "storefront" location, but will gladly arrange with you to pickup and drop off your computer at a convenient location as we are visiting our numerous area business clients most days, Monday through Saturday.
